We provide a welcoming and accessible service to people who identify as Lesbian, gay, brotherboy, sistergirl. bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer or questioning (LGBTIQ) and gender diverse

At Relationships Australia NT we are committed to social justice, inclusion, and respecting the rights of all people, in all their diversity, to live with dignity and safety, have a sense of belonging and connection and to enjoy healthy relationships.

Our service is culturally appropriate, supportive and respectful to the needs of the local LGBTIQ and gender diverse community.

What services we provide

We recognise the challenges facing individuals, partners and families. Building strong, healthy relationships can be challenging for a number of different reasons. At RANT, we offer a range of different therapeutic supports for individuals, relationships and whole-of-family for a range of issues including;
  • Developing relationship skills
  • Facilitating difficult conversations
  • Couple difficulties or conflict
  • Intimate partner or family violence
  • Parenting difficulties or conflict
  • Stress, depression and/or anxiety
  • Gender questioning
  • Coming out
  • Family alienation
  • Step-family difficulties
  • Sexual concerns
  • Separation or post-separation difficulties
  • Mental health difficulties
  • Relationship education
  • Mediation and parenting plans
  • Property and financial settlements

Who can use our service?

Any individual of any age, religion, financial situation, location, gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, ethnicity, language group or any other ability who is seeking support is welcome to use our service.


All information given to our services is kept confidential. Confidentiality will only be waived when matters of a serious or criminal nature arise, or mandatory reporting is required.


Some services may charge fees according to the service you engage with and your financial circumstances. You should let      Relationships Australia NT know if you are on a low income or experiencing financial difficulties.
