Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Project

A project aimed at increasing the cultural sensitivity of Relationships Australia NT services to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community needs and to increase the numbers of members of the CALD community accessing our services.

Relationships Australia NT works in partnership and collaboration with CALD specific services and CALD community groups through involvement in networks, meetings, consultations, support groups, information sessions and referral to our services, community events and celebrations.

Our service is committed to increasing access for community members from CALD background; in particular through the use of qualified face-to-face or telephone interpreters and the translation of important documents and service brochures (interpreting and translation incur no fee and are free of charge).

Contact can be made with our service for information in your own language (Greek, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Swahili, Arabic, Tetum, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Somali, Indonesian and Filipino).

A dedicated CALD Project Worker can also be accessed for: support to use our Darwin services, to link in with your community, provide information sessions, to develop a partnership or project/event collaboration or other needs as identified.
